"Expressions"

Who am I to give without wanting a return?
Who is right all the time?
Who has the right to it all?
Who is rightfully ours to hold, cherish and love?
Who can say love is not theirs to have, to hold and cherish?
Who has the right to take what isn't theirs?
Who has the right to say “I love”?

Do I give up the right to give and not take back?
Do I give up the right to it all?
Do I give up what is rightfully mine to hold, cherish and love?
Do I give away the love that is mine to have, to hold and cherish?
Do I give the right to those to take what isn’t theirs?
Do the words "I love" mean anything to anyone but me?
