“As I sit”

As I sit here and ponder the life of us all.
I wonder why some choices are made.
I wonder if we would make the same choices give the chance to.
As I sit here and ponder the life of just one.
Would I make the choice?
Would I, given the choice choose that choice again?
As I sit here and ponder the life of many.
Would they make our choice?
Would they, given the choice change the one they choose?
As I sit here and ponder the life of another.
Would you make the choice?
Would you, given the choice change that one choice?
As I sit here and ponder life.
The choice is made.
