“One Day”

I will invite you to be my friend and friends we will be.
I will invite you for coffee and we will drink coffee together.
I will invite you for dinner and you will accept.
I will invite you to spend time walking with me, holding hands.
I will invite you for a hug; we will cuddle.
I will invite you to a kiss and the kiss will be the first of many.

I will invite you to stay over; spending the night in your company.
I will invite you for breakfast and bring it to you in bed.
I will invite you to plan a trip so that we may travel.
I will invite you into my heart to keep there forever.
I will invite you to stay forever and hope you do.
I will invite you to be old with me.

One day is one day; and maybe we will do it instead of me.
