Carefree days spent playing,
Hell raising moments that scared parents,
Ideally spent outside even when it was raining,
Lovingly given support from all,
Days spent sick in bed, reading and sleeping
How it was so easy to say, “When I grow up?”
Older seems to be so far away,
Or is it so far, for soon you are a young adult,
Delightful laughter filling the moments of the day.
