In the beginning the was none, Then the first was sprung,
Full of new life, bursting with colour,
Things abound with a spring in their step,
Flashes of bright colours,
Soft rain to soak into the ground.
A new change full of sunshine,
Deep greens, shades of indigo blues,
Thunder and lightning fill the afternoon showers,
The promises of new lings in the air,
Summery smiles, butterflies abound.
The change soon from green,
To rich reds, oranges and yellows,
Cooler mornings, chiller nights,
Harvest moon shining so bright,
Stars filled with promise,
Snowflakes on your nose,
Rosy cheeks, and frosted breath,
Greys, browns and whites fill the landscape,
Though you are the last, you are not the least,
As you draw to an end and the cycle begins.
